To my amazing network, WE DID IT! I have accepted a role that I am SO excited for. And I'm watching my savings dwindle, and I'm looking at the mountain of rejections in my inbox, and I'm asking for help. I'm also a hobbyist musician and digital artist - which informs how I think holistically about storytelling in games and bolsters my ability to collaborate across other disciplines. (I'm even developing my own solo game in Unreal right now.)

I actively enjoy in-engine work, and I'm not afraid of even the gnarliest of git workflows. I come from a computer science background, which means I'm as technical as I am creative, and can jump into implementation as easily as I can the writers' room. I've directed VO and mocap performers, I've written long-form transmedia fiction, I've crafted marketing campaigns and fan-engagement events - I'm an accomplished interactive storyteller, through and through. I've been involved in every part of a game's lifecycle, from first twinkle in a team's eye through to production and liveops beyond. I've developed new IPs from the ground up, and I've jumped in to support and expand existing IPs. I've written and designed for hit story-driven games with millions of daily active players and more words of player-facing story than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. I have over 17 years of experience in the games industry, heavily concentrated in #gamewriting and #narrativedesign, with the last 8 of those years in leadership roles (involving creative direction, people management, leading game story content production pipelines, developing narrative tooling, and so on).
